What Is a Hyaluron Pen?
The Hyaluron Pen is a new tool that is used to inject hyaluronic acid filler, skin boosters or fat dissolvers into the epidermal or upper dermal layers of the skin. This tool can place the solution without the use of traditional needles. The Hyaluron Pen uses pressure to inject the product into the skin, and is one of the newest techniques on the market. The pen can add volume and plump lips, or other areas of the skin without the traditional risk of needles. This tool is easy to use, quick, and is non-invasive with minimal downtime after treatment.
How Does Treatment With the Hyaluron Pen Work?
The Hyaluron Pen is ideal for people that are uncomfortable with needles. The pen only reaches the papillary layer of the dermis, and this helps to keep this treatment safe with no risk of occlusion. The Hyaluron Pen uses pressure technology, and this causes the solution to transform into molecules that insert easily right into the skin.
The Hyaluron Pen is similar to how an insulin pen works, and this technology has been used for years. More recently the pen has been used to help fill wrinkles and plump lips.
What is hyaluronic acid filler?
Hyaluronic Acid is a hydrating substance that helps to plump your skin, stay hydrated, and look youthful. This substance is naturally found in our bodies, so there is no risk for allergies. When we age our bodies stop producing collagen and hyaluronic acid, and this in turn makes our skin lose elasticity and form wrinkles. The Hyaluron Pen helps to restore collagen and give you that plump rejuvenated look.
What Can I Expect During Treatment With the Hyaluron Pen and How Is the Recovery?
The Hyaluron Pen is minimally invasive and is safe with no risks. During treatment the product is put into an ampoule and inserted into the Hyaluron Pen. The pen is set, and the product is then injected into the skin. During treatment you will hear a clicking sound similar to a gun when the product is inserted into the top layer of the skin. You can adjust the strength of the pen easily during treatment to achieve the perfect pressure. Hyaluron filler typically lasts 2-3 months, and treatment can be done every 3-4 weeks to touch up the areas, or achieve the results you desire.
Before your treatment you can take arnica tablets to help with bruising and inflammation. Drinking lots of water prior to your treatment is recommended, and avoid any retinol products or peels. Exercise can resume 24 hours after treatment. You may notice swelling or bruising in the treatment area, but this should subside after 3 days. After treatment you may notice lumps or bumps near the injection site. This should also go away after 2-3 days. Results can be seen instantly, and the product will continue to work over the next couple of weeks.
