Hi! I’m Leah! Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I get to experiment with beauty tools and products from all over the world! I’m a wife, mom of 4, photographer, espresso addict, and cereal entrepreneur living in the great state of Texas.

When I turned 40 my skin began to age at a rapid rate, sun spots got worse, I started to lose volume in my lips and cheeks, and my wrinkles were out of control. Topical skincare was no longer enough and I knew I needed to take my anti-aging to the next level.

Prior to 2020 I dabbled in DIY skincare, I microbladed my own eyebrows, permed and dyed my eyelashes, micro needled and derrmaplaned.   Once all the med spas closed due to the pandemic I decided to figure out how to do my own botox and filler. I spent hundreds of hours researching every med spa treatment on the market. During that process I discovered treatments and tools that I didn’t even know existed.  I purchased multiple devices and products and taught myself how to use them over the next 6 months.  I was soo excited about all I had learned and I wanted to teach everyone I came in contact with. This is how The DIY Med Spa was born! In February of 2021 I launched a YouTube channel that documents each procedure and how it turned out. I have enjoyed every second of this journey and I hope you do to.
