What is Plasma Fibroblast?

If you are looking for a minimally invasive way to tighten and treat wrinkles and fine lines, then plasma fibroblast may be right for you. Plasma fibroblast treatment targets collagen and protein cells in the outer layer of your skin. Fibroblast treatment is minimally invasive, and can help to tighten and firm skin, and reduce wrinkles and fine lines. Plasma fibroblast therapy uses a pen like device that sends high frequency electric currents to target areas of your skin. During the treatment micro injuries are created, and this causes your skin to produce collagen and elastin, and gives a firm and smooth look.

What Should I Expect During My Plasma Fibroblast Treatment?

When you begin fibroblast treatment skin should be clean, and a topical anesthetic or numbing cream is applied to the target area. The target area is treated with the plasma pen tool, and will create tiny dots on the skin. This is caused from the microcurrents that create injuries in the skin. After the procedure a cooling gel can be used to help minimize any burning or tingling. On average, fibroblast treatment takes around 30-60 minutes to complete.

What Can I Expect After My Treatment?

After a fibroblast treatment the small dots will scab over, and eventually fall off in about a week. Your skin will heal and feel tighter, and wrinkles will be reduced. Many people see results after one treatment, but multiple treatments are needed to achieve desired results. After treatment you may notice some redness or swelling around the area with some mild hyperpigmentation. This should subside after about a week of healing. Skin may also peel or look crusty as you move through the healing process.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Plasma Fibroblast Treatment?

The best candidates are those that have mild to moderate fine lines and wrinkles, and those who do not have an allergy to any topical anesthetics. If you have an infection around a target area, or have a history of keloids and scarring, this treatment may not be right for you. Plasma fibroblast should not be done if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
